Build: Quite curvy, but keeps it hidden underneath her lab coat and layers of clothes. Medium frame and dons a 34C bust. She's a size 8 and a pear-figure, but can create the illusion that she's an hourglass, if she'd wear the right clothes and bra.
Eyes: Blue, the sapphire kind. However, she started to wear green lenses ever since she needed glasses at age 21.
Hair: Auburn brown and almost reaches her waist. When she's outside, she has her usual haircut, but when she's at home, she mostly has it all in a messy bun or a ponytail. Occasionally, she lets it loose, which is mostly when she's PMSing.
Piercings/ Tattoos: She doesn't have any of those.
Favorite kind of outfit/style: Always a lab coat, unless she's having her period, sleeping, or sick as hell. She has her work clothes underneath it, most of the time, but when it's hot, she doesn't wear the green vest and that red shawl-thing. She always wears jeans, though, never skirts and it's always past her knees.
At home, she wears some other things, like tops and shirts and, for special occasions, a dress.
She likes to think that her style's sophisticated and 'slimmerous'.
Other headcanons:
- Failed her forensic test due to her being bad at physics. She's always preferred Chemistry, due to her liking chemical reactions. Physics class at school was always boring with them only making assignments while Chemistry was fun and, to her, quite easy to understand.
- Another reason she doesn't give in to Klavier is because he used to tease her and prank a little bit in the beginning of her career. She had only just moved on from her sadness that she wouldn't become a forensic scientist and, frankly, was still quite depressed over it. Basically, Klavier chose the worst phase of her life to tease her. She still owns the sleeping pills that she used to take almost daily from that time, but doesn't quite use them.
- It's nice to see her eat. As she likes virtually anything, - She really isn't picky when it's about food - you can give her any dish and she'll happily eat it, as long as it's well prepared. It's a bit like... Your grandmother gives you a shitload of food and she actually eats it all. It's just really nice to see how she eats every little bit of her food and isn't afraid to just grab some chicken and stuff herself it, yet still remain sort of feminine. Because of it, she has her periods of gaining some weight, followed by her stressing a bit out and get her ass off the couch and walk around to get some of that fat off her.
- She has a tabby cat called Felix. The molly's three years old and got green/yellow eyes. Ema truly loves Felix and likes to cuddle her to death when she's on her period or simply had a hard day at work. She's allowed outside and, thus, goes outside quite often, but always makes sure to be at home when Ema's coming home. A red tom follows Felix into Ema's apartment sometimes and Ema's taken a liking to him as well, feeding him sometimes.
- She can control her voice very well, however, I suppose that's pretty canon. She can make a variations of sounds and can imitate voices very well. After all, you don't simply imitate Kristoph's voice good enough to creep the hell out of his previous apprentice, especially when you haven't talked a lot towards him. Because she can control her voice so well, she has a nice singing voice. Not 'good', but nice enough for people to applaud her at a karaoke night.
She can't whistle, though.
- I've noticed that it's a quite common thing for RPers to let their 25-year-old Ema be a virgin. I'm not taking any of that. I believe that she lost her virginity around the age of seventeen/eighteen, at least before the events of AA:Investigations. She also had some affairs, with the longest lasting for one year, which broke up due to her getting completely fussed up and stressed over her forensics test.
- The main reason is why she's being cold and stubborn towards Klavier, is because she doesn't want history to repeat. She doesn't want Klavier to own her like Damon owned Lana way back. This is why she went from a bubbly teenager to the 'ice queen' she is now.
- She believes that Edgeworth, who did help quite a bit during 'Rise of the Ashes', wouldn't do such a thing and thus wants to become his detective instead. She's begged him to take her, but due to everything Gumshoe and Miles had been through, he told her it wasn't possible.
- Ema is partly German, which explains her typical German name. Her father was German, her mother American.
- She has sort of accepted the fact that she'll stay a homicide detective and won't become a forensic scientist, or a scientist of any sort. This doesn't keep her from studying chemistry in her spare time, though.
- A family person, for sure. She secretly loves affection and always could get some from her small family, which only consists out of Lana now. She'd love to broaden the family by getting, preferably, at least two children.
- Massive pains during menstruation, oh god, PMSing everywhere. Because of that, Ema takes birth control in such a way that she only has four periods in one year. And whenever she does have her period, she makes sure that she's free during that week where she hurls into some blankets with Ben & Jerry's ice cream (Chocolate Fudge Brownie) and a bowl next to her, watching trash tv and Doctor Who and trying to not vomit her organs or something.
- Yes, she is a Whovian and at least owns two or three shirts of the series, that much I know for sure. I, however, recently started watching it and am at the end of.. What, season one now? So don't fire me any difficult questions about that until I've caught up, please. The reason why she watches it is because she likes sci-fi like this (to which a lot of the basic rules are still bound), time travelling and the humor is just right for her.
